West Michigan Bridal Expo February 4 at the Pinnacle Center

Inspiration Video is looking forward to being a part of the West Michigan Bridal Expo that is right around the corner! It is coming up this February 4 and will run from noon until 4pm at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville.

We do a few shows a year and this one will be such a treat! There will be a great mix of local wedding vendors that will be there to give you a lot of wedding planning ideas. Plus, there are always many giveaways, so chances to win something fun for your wedding and also a alot of great food samples to try!

So come on out and we will see you Saturday, February 4!

Glidden Tour 2011

I am currently working on a video for the 2011 Glidden Tour. This event is a car tour that takes place once a year in a different location around the U.S. each fall. The event is for cars manufactured in 1942 or earlier and each driver must be a member of the AACA or the VMCCA. Last year, the tour was based out of Holland, Michigan, and I was selected and hired to be the tour videographer for 2010. This year, the tour was based out of Cumberland, Maryland, and I was once again selected and hired to video the tour. I was thrilled to be hired again, as I very much enjoy the people, the places, and everything we get to experience on the tour. Then I enjoy creating a video for them so that they can relive the events of the tour whenever they like!

This year, there were about 265 cars. The picture above is of one of the cars from this tour. Some of our events of the tour included going to the memorial site of Flight 93, going on a Potamic Eagle train ride where we saw many bald eagles, seeing a gorgeous waterfall in Swallow Falls, going to Nemacolin Resort and Fallingwater. These events, plus many more, were great experiences, and I was able to capture footage from each one. I also captured interviews from the drivers talking about their cars, footage of the cars on the road, footage of their banquets throughout the week, and even some ride along footage. Riding in cars from this era is alot of fun! All in all, I very much enjoyed the tour and hope to continue to be a part of it for years to come.

Working with Brawn Mixer

I am currently working on a few videos for Brawn Mixer out of Holland, Michigan. Brawn Mixer is a world-wide leader in the design and manufacture of industrial fluid mixers including portable, top entry, sanitary and side entry mixers for a wide range of applications. They have been a recurring client of ours for many years. I enjoy taping the different mixer presentations, and behind the scenes production and then producing the different video pieces that they are looking to have created.

Currently, we are creating a few videos for their new website which will be up soon at www.brawnmixer.com. We are working on a new home page video, and two more videos for placement further in the site. I look forward to sharing the videos with you as soon as they are complete. For now, the picture above gives you a glimpse into one of the video segments we are producing.
